Glasgow Celtic call off Coetzee deal

Ajax Cape Town defender Rivaldo Coetzee will not be joining Glasgow Celtic after failing his medical with the Scottish giants on Saturday.
Celtic had agreed a reported €1million deal for the Bafana Bafana centre-back, who's been actively seeking a move away from the Urban Warriors over the past two months.
However, according to reports surfacing in local media, Brendan Rodgers side have opted against signing Coetzee after his medical revealed a broken bone in his right foot. And with Celtic desperately needing defensive cover - the Bhoys have now decided to look elsewhere in the market before the transfer window shuts this week.
The Urban Warriors confirmed the news on their official website which put an end to the dream move for the 20-year-old academy graduate.
"Ajax Cape Town can confirm that Rivaldo Coetzee will return to the club from Johannesburg, where the player was undergoing a medical examination ahead of a proposed transfer to Scottish champions Glasgow Celtic," read a statement on the club's website.
"Following a routine medical examination carried out by the Celtic medical department, they discovered an underlying problem with his right foot.
"The clubs were therefore unable to conclude the deal, based on the medical information available. The player will return to Ajax Cape Town for further evaluation."
